01Corporate identity

An operator, not an intermediary.

SDIF exists to participate directly in the networks that underpin digital assets — committing its own capital, running its own infrastructure and building its own understanding of how these systems behave.

The company was formed in Delaware in October 2026 as a privately held limited liability company. It does not raise money, accept outside investors or provide services to customers. Every activity described on this website is conducted for SDIF's own account.

That structure shapes how the company operates. Without clients to serve or products to sell, the measure of the work is the quality of the decisions, the integrity of the infrastructure and the reliability of the controls around both.

03Operating philosophy

How SDIF approaches the work.

  • P.1

    Proprietary by design

Only the company's own capital is deployed. There are no outside investors, no client accounts and no third-party mandates.

  • P.2

    Controls before capital

Authority, limits and procedures are written down before an activity begins, not reconstructed after it.

  • P.3

    Infrastructure as discipline

Operating systems directly — rather than only holding assets — creates accountability for security, resilience and correctness.

  • P.4

    Restraint in disclosure

SDIF describes how it works, not what it holds. Positions, counterparties and wallets are not published.

04Governance & controls

Controls are part of the infrastructure.

Governance at SDIF is treated as an operating system for the company: who may decide, within what limits, through which systems, and with what record.

Documented authority

Decision rights reserved and delegated in writing through the Office of the Founding Partners.

Risk framework

Limits, approvals and review cadences defined before any capital is deployed.

Information security

Access safeguards and separation of public systems from internal records, subject to internal controls.

Operational controls

Continuity planning, reconciliation procedures and internal controls for production systems.

05Research programme

Research that informs operation.

SDIF's research is first an internal discipline. Selected work will be published after internal and legal review.
